Kent MacLachlan
GUITAR & BACKGROUND VOCALS
Kent hails from the Central Washington town of Yakima where he started playing drums at the early age of nine. It wasn’t until many years later, and with a little nudge from his older brother Craig (a very successful musician in his own right) Kent found himself shifting from drums to guitar for the Scooter Mac Band. Since then he's played in numerous bands with numerous musicians, but as he says, "there's something truly special about this band. We've assembled quite a group of incredible talented musicians, and even more importantly, just good people.”
Aarun Carter
FIDDLE
After winning the Colorado State small fry division for fiddle at the age of 4, Aarun Carter was hooked on the fiddle for life. Six more State Championships and two National Championships later, she found herself sharing the stage with such Country greats as Willie Nelson, George Strait, Ashley McBride, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and The Texas Playboys.
Not only is Aarun a gifted performer, she is a patient teacher and coach. She delights in guiding her students, of all ages, finding their voice on the fiddle. She resides in Portland Oregon performs nationally and welcomes your interest. Whiskey Talkin' is thrilled to have her in the line up.
