Whisky Talk'n

About The Musicians

Kent MacLachlan

GUITAR & BACKGROUND VOCALS

Kent hails from the Central Washington town of Yakima where he started playing drums at the early age of nine. It wasn’t until many years later, and with a little nudge from his older brother Craig (a very successful musician in his own right) Kent found himself shifting from drums to guitar for the Scooter Mac Band. Since then he's played in numerous bands with numerous musicians, but as he says, "there's something truly special about this band. We've assembled quite a group of incredible talented musicians, and even more importantly, just good people.”

Dave Gross

KEYBOARDS

Dave has spent his entire career in the music industry, playing in bands, writing music, doing post production, and designing sound effects. When his hands aren't on a keyboard, they're usually busy snuggling his greyhound.

Grant Heiser

LEAD VOCALS & GUITAR

Grant grew up in Camas, Washington, and attended Seattle University, where he received a degree in Criminal Justice. He also played division one baseball for the University and is finishing his graduate degree online through Seattle U. Grant began playing country music with his friends in college, performing some local shows in the Seattle area until he met and joined the members of Whiskey Talkin’ in 2023.

Dann McCormack

BASS GUITAR

Between growing up with a father who sang and played guitar in a Country-Western band, and playing regularly with the son of legendary jazz guitarist Howard Roberts, music is in Dann's DNA and soul. He's comfortable across a range of musical genres on an equally broad variety of musical instruments, including bass guitar, 5 string banjo, guitar, mandolin, keyboards, and drums, and has been playing alongside Whiskey Talkin's drummer Brendan Scanlan for nearly 30 years.

Glenn Lorbiecki

Guitar

Glenn is from Wisconsin, where they play both kinds of music—country and western. He made his professional debut in the 5th grade and is still trying to top that experience. Favorite guitar? All of them.

Brendan Scanlan

Drummer

Brendan began playing drums at age 12 and immediately knew what he wanted to do in life. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, he became a session musician on a variety of diverse recording projects and genres in New York City. Not much changed when he moved to Seattle in the late 1990s, where he continues to provide the heartbeat of rock, country, jazz, fusion and latin music.
